ALTON DEAN ARTIST BIOGRAPHY

ALTON'S METAL ARTWORK can now be seen at the GALLERY AT HYDE PARK in Boise's Historic Northend.   Formal training and extensive experience in the sheet metal industry has provided Boise Metal Artist Alton Dean with the ability to create master artwork and custom furniture out of a variety of metals. His passion is to shape metal, and he views each work of metal art that he creates as an individual with a personality of its own.

The enjoyment that people receive from his creations inspires his own creativity. His specialty is metal artwork that is celestial or nature influenced, and while he incorporates his personality into every piece, he is dedicated to ensuring that his client’s expectations are always met.  Alton grew up in Eastern Idaho, moving to Boise in 1995.  Aside from his art, Alton enjoys spending time with his wife and son and likes to partake in enjoying all the beauty that Idaho that has to offer.  Camping, hiking, traveling, and simply enjoying the scenery, are activities that both relax and inspire him in his artistic quests.  Alton appeared on "That's Clever" on HGTV in February 2007 and was also featured in Sunday's Life Section of the Idaho Statesman on August 12, 2007. SEPELTUDE ART is an Artistic design and manufacturing business established by Alton Dean to create one-of-a-kind, functional, aesthetic art.  Utilizing different metals, including stainless steel, mild steel, copper, aluminum, and brass, items are finished using various techniques, such as heat, patina, and abrasives.  Every piece that Alton Dean creates is unique and handcrafted, so each customer is sure to receive a one-of-a-kind item.  NOW SHOWING at the HYDE PARK ART GALLERY in Boise's Historic Northend. Alton's metal art was also recently exhibited at the Capitol City Farmer's Market in Downtown Boise.  He is a member of the Boise Weekly Artist Union and is regularly commissioned to build custom artwork for those who are looking for a unique piece for their home or office.
